About Us

Oasis Christian Community is relatively new to The Ohio State University.  We transitioned from a collection of small group Bible studies to holding church services in the fall of 2005.  We began in the backroom of a house on 15th Avenue but quickly outgrew it after one year.  The following year we moved into the RPAC, but outgrew our upstairs room within a year.  We then relocated into and have made our home in Campbell Hall 200 in the fall of 2007.

As we are entering our fifth year of church services, Oasis has seen its students engage in multiple mission trips around the world.  Uganda, Guatemala, Mexico, and one student still living in China.  Oasis has also had the wonderful privilege of planting a new church in Upper Arlington in January of 2009.

Oasis is connected with both our church plant, UA Christian Assembly, and with our parent church, Columbus Christian Assembly. Both are independent non-denomination churches in the greater-Columbus area.

All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Matthew 28:18-20
