Bringing
…them into a loving relationship with Christ
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength."
-Mark 12:30
When you receive Jesus' into your life and receive salvation from sin, the event itself is so amazing. Is there any greater news than that? Yes! We want you to know that it gets even better! When you are saved by your faith in Christ, you receive the Holy Spirit. This wonderful part of God allows you to have a loving relationship with Jesus Christ Himself, and this is not something you should ignore! Jesus did live two thousand years ago, but after his resurrection from the dead he has been alive since then, living in me and you! Let us show you how to embrace this loving relationship with Christ Jesus!
How can this be done?
Prayer
We communicate with Christ through prayer. We let Him know:
- How thankful we are for His blessings
- How awesome a God He is
- We need Him for things in our life
- We need Him for things in the lives of others
- We need His grace to forgive us for our wrongdoings
Your 'prayer life' is so detrimental to sharing this amazing relationship with God. Our discipleship programs can guide you to really embracing the living Jesus through prayer, and every time we meet, we pray.
Worship
Worship really comes from the Greek word for 'kiss.' So with worship, it is like you're 'kissing God.' Our Sunday morning services have this in mind, and our worship band and the rest of us come together to worship God. Worship invites God to come into your life and have a truly living relationship with you.
Fellowship
Being around other believers of Christ and praying, worshiping, studying the bible, and talking about your journey with God means that you all are doing those things with God being right with you. We have small groups that meet just for that cause, and all of us want to have fellowship with you.
Learning
Learning more about God's amazing love from others really moves us to loving God. On Sunday mornings out messages reach out to what you are going through in your life, and help you to further develop your relationship with the Savior. In addition to our messages, our drama and video team gives a different perspective to teaching that embraces the creative side.
