Each quarter we will go on a retreat. Retreats in Oasis involve going to a nice, big, scenic location to have lots of fun, get to know lots of great people, and grow in the Lord. Is homework a problem? Don't worry, there's always plenty of time to study.

We also like to take retreats on the road during bigger breaks (spring break, for instance), sometimes going out of state or attending huge conferences like Mountaintop!

Small groups are the heart of the Oasis community. We hope that you will make great friends at all Oasis events, but sometimes a TGIF event or a worship service may be too big of a setting for you to get to know others on a very personal level. We have found that being part of a smaller, more intimate group is the best way for students in Oasis to really get to know other students. In small groups you will also have the opportunity to get to know the leaders of Oasis on a more personal level and build good, edifying relationships with them and other students that will change your life for the better.

Being part of a small group usually means meeting weekly with a group in the dorms, in someone's home, or in some other comfortable setting to eat dinner (if your group wants to) and have a bible study. Groups may also do lots of other things outside of bible study like watch an OSU game, study together, play board games, or go out for dinner and/or a movie.

Times and locations for autumn will be available no later than the end of the first week of classes!

The days and times of summer small group bible studies are below. And many times we get together outside of the once-a-week bible study routine. If you find a group that interests you, the leader is ready and waiting to hear from you.
